Mission & Vision

Mission Statement

Los Angeles High School of the Arts fosters a rich academic, innovative, and professional artistic community inspiring our students to become the next generation of creative thinkers.  Students are able to independently research and collect data to solve complex problems, allowing them to flourish in collaborative environments and meet challenges with creativity and determination.

Vision
LAHSA fosters a community of academically-rich, innovative, and artistic professionals, inspiring the next generation of creative thinkers.

LAHSA is a founding member of the LAUSD Pilot Schools movement, and a fully public, non-auditioned theatre arts high school serving Koreatown’s Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools Zone of Choice. We believe that education in the arts allows our youth to find their voice.

We invite you to come see our program in action! Call our main office at (213) 480-4600 and ask for our Assistant Principal, Cathy Kwan, to set up a visit.
