back when I was in Middle School I was kind of like really hesitant about school like it's just it's kind of thing that I had to go every day and now I'm in high school in Atkins Law Offices is fun it brings out the fun in school and I'm learning as well but it would it was really it was really a regular High School it was mad English science and I thought it was my education is really going anywhere so I need to expand and do a lot better cuz basically the whole just Fortune school thing wasn't that cuz I want to do I want to be more quiet orientated it's on passion towards being a leader in my community I've always liked lawyers and I just kind of wanted to do something in law enforcement always been interested in you know technology computers and design so video production in and working with movies is really something that I thought was cool that I would be interested in doing and it wasn't necessarily something that I wanted to have a career in but I knew that the pathways program and the more focused curriculum and and education that I would be gaining here would really help prepare me for the future Harmony came to my middle school and presented you know the engineering pathway and how the  architecture know that you know it's going to be a real benefit for students who come here you know what just to go to college it'll benefit them you know their whole life so I thought you know academic-wise I was fit for it and they told me I was in the I mean I just listen really good so I wanted to go for it I feel like over here it's more specialized for me I feel like I'm getting treated the way that I want to be too so I can reach my goal and I can't you know follow my dreams when you have a pathway you become more motivated and the teachers there and they have like knowledge in your pathway to high school we've had a lot of people like really kind of which are a lot more and since you're put into an academy where everybody's interested in a certain area there is a lot more attention from the teachers the group of smaller you get to connect with a lot of students will for me like personally I used to be like a very shy person but I was like I didn't say ninth grade and I sought what the school does for you I felt really comfortable here and I felt really good I really like the school I had to make a decision what should I I think the best way for me to learn would be Hands-On it just makes everything better because you actually kind of live it rather than just think about it and write it down motion has been rolled up all the other favor and I'm sure it'll be the same projects throughout the year that take our Pathways engineering and Performing Arts then and integrate parkour classes we get to see how the pathways apply to the real world and apply to other subjects going from one class to the other to the other can get very dull and boring and it's one. It's done and then you move on compared to some of them wants but when you have like a link learning you get to like use the stuff that you learn before and then lick it all connects it's just I think it makes more sense over the summer I had an internship was more of a summer program felt kind of you know like relieving that I've been coming to school and actually learning something that that applies to me and apply to the real world class has two little kids hi how may so now we're going to build some learning how to do that has helped a lot at school likes peaches and taking his class with a smile on their faces was just so rewarding to me I really did feel like a teacher all of the experiences I've had with the job Shadows or anything where I'm exposed to the people who work in the help you cuz I love the passion that they have is contagious I think a common misconception of ways that students come into these Pathways and then they're locked into these career choices for the rest of their lives and it's not that we will help them in whatever your career or college that they'll be going into I'm going to lie growing up every kid went to be the athlete the rapper the the Popstar or whatever it's it definitely changed now I want to go to school to place for it and now I think that my way to just get school I have 9 football letters and I'm accepting the one with the best medical program and by dreaming learning we actually see how we can play some things we learn in our real life
