Juan Meléndez

I am a science teacher at LAHSA, where I specifically teach Chemistry and Physiology. My focus is to prepare students for college-level science work by helping them understand it conceptually while aligning to the Next-Generation Science Standards. I follow master-based grading, which focuses on reflecting what students know (content) and what students can do (skills).
